Semana de los pequeños rincones y detalles: rincones interiores con encanto. - Week of the small corners and details: charming indoor areas

Finalizo la semana con unos rincones llenos de encanto y belleza. Rincones con mucha personalidad, especiales y únicos. Rincones a los que sus propietarios han sabido dar todo el carácter y originalidad a través de piezas especiales con sabor a añejo o a historias vividas que llenan las viviendas de aromas, sensaciones, emociones y evocaciones.
I finish the week with a few corners full of charm and beauty. Corners with a lot of personality, special and unique. Corners to which their owners have given all the character and originality by using special pieces with a flavour of old, or of vivid stories that fill the home of  feelings, emotions and evocations.

 Me encanta este rincón de trabajo de estilo industrial con esa mesa con base regulable de hierro, ese taburete, esas cajoneras archivador en madera, la lámpara, el reloj king size, la lámina antigua y la damajuana... 
I love this study corner in industrial style, with that table with an adjustable iron base, that stool, those filing cabinets in wood, the lamp, the "king size" clock, the ancient illustration and the demijohn...

 Este espacio es impresionante: una mezcla efectista y muy teatral pero muy equilibrada y maravillosamente coordinada. La mesa, el busto y la lámpara de mesa, de factura clásica, coordinan perfectamente con el ambiente desvencijado y añejo fortalecido por la impresionante butaca desgastada y rota y las maderas de suelo y pared con la pátina del tiempo pasado. El punto de contraste de aire industrial pone el toque maestro con esa rueda de engranaje de hierro y la tubería con la llave a la vista.
This space is impressive: a very theatrical, but still very well balanced and wonderfully coordinated mix. The table, the bust and the table lamp, of classic style, perfectly combine with the rickety and old environment strengthened by the impressive worn and torn armchair, and the wood in the floor and wall covered with the patina of past days. The contrast in industrial style gives the master touch with that iron gearwheel and the pipeline with the stopcock in sight.

Una mezcla de estilos muy atractiva. Un aire muy masculino en el que un gran molde de metal de la letra "K" cobra todo el protagonismo dando fuerza al conjunto.
A very attractive mixture of styles. A very masculine air in which a great metal mould of the letter "K" receives all the protagonism, giving strength to the set.

La columna de maletas antiguas y el mobiliario de estilo retro conforman un ambiente único con sabor a tiempos pasados.
The column of old suitcases and the furniture in retro style give shape to a unique ambient with a flavour of past days.

La hamaca de exterior con la madera desgastada, la caja de antigua lonja de pescado, los farolillos, el cesto de mimbre, los textiles a rayas... todo ello dibuja un ambiente que nos evoca la brisa marina y las gaviotas en el cielo típica de los pueblos costeros.

The outdoor deckchair with the worn-out wood, the box of an old fish market, the lanterns, the basket made of wicker, the striped fabrics... all this outlines an ambient that takes us back to the marine breeze and the gulls in the sky typical of the coastal villages.

La semana que viene, comenzamos nuevo mes. Las vacaciones llegan a su fin. Noooo!!! Y más con el invierno de crisis que todo indica nos viene encima ¿verdad? 
Next week, a new month begins. Holidays come to an end. Noooo!!! And much more so with the crisis winter that looms large ahead, isn't it?

Bueno, pues no hay que desmoralizarse: hay que abordar el nuevo curso con energía, ganas y nuevos proyectos. Para mí siempre hay dos fechas clave para los buenos propósitos de futuro: año nuevo y "la vuelta al cole" a primeros de septiembre. Siempre encaro estas fechas con ilusión y nuevos proyectos en mi cabeza: desde los más personales como irme a la cama pronto para madrugar un poco más los fines de semana (lo confieso, me gusta tanto exprimir el día y la noche que suelo trasnochar más de lo debido y claro, luego cuesta levantarse) hasta los más profesionales como embarcarme en nuevas ideas y proyectos. Así que, desde que era pequeña (que pasado el ecuador del verano ya estaba deseando volver al cole para conocer cuál iba a ser mi nueva profesora o profesor y cómo iban a ser mis nuevos libros) hasta hoy siempre he comenzado septiembre con ilusión y muchas ganas. 
Well, but don't lose hearth: we have to face the new school year with energy, enthusiastically, and undertaking new projects. For me there are two key dates regarding the good intentions for the future: New Year and " back to school " at the beginning of September. I always face these dates with hope and new projects in my head: from the personal projects, as me going to bed early in order to wake up a little bit earlier on weekends (I must confess, I like to make the most of the day and the night, so that I use to go to bed too late, and then it is difficult to wake up the next morning), to the professional projects, like starting up new ideas and projects. So, since I was a child (who, past the summer mid point, already wanted to go back to school to know who would be my new teacher, and how my new books would look like) I have always faced September with hope and motivation.

Las dos primeras semanas de septiembre serán dos semanas muy ocupadas para mí y ya estoy deseando sumergirme en ellas. He aprovechado las vacaciones al máximo dentro de mis posibilidades (y eso es lo que cuenta) así que ahora toca afrontar el curso con las pilas cargadas y llenas de ilusión. Me espera mucho trabajo y algún que otro viaje así que, quizás no podré estar con vosotros estas semanas con toda la frecuencia que me gustaría. Espero que me disculpéis por ello y que sigáis siendo tan fieles como lo sois, me llenáis de energía.
On the first two weeks of September I will be very busy, but even so I am eager to dive into them. I have enjoyed my holidays to the maximum under the circumstances (and that is what counts here) so now I begin the school year with recharged batteries and full of hope. A lot of work awaits me and maybe one trip or two, so during those two weeks I will probably not be able to meet you as often as I would like. I hope you will forgive me for that, and I also hope that you continue being so faithful as you are, as you fill me with energy.

Pasad un buen fin de semana, aún de verano, aprovecharlo.
Spend a good weekend, it is still a summer weekend, so make the most of it.
